When we first started the Below the Line Film Festival our goal was to offer a platform for ANYONE to enter their film and reach an audience. As we've been growing and learning, we have found that there is a whole subset of filmmakers from all over the world who do not have the funds to enter their films into festivals to try and attract an audience or gain more footing in the film industry.
In our 2023 season we had a generous donor who sponsored ten films to submit for the festival. This year we are opening up the opportunity for ANYONE to sponsor a film to submit for our festival. Should you sponsor we will certainly share the info of the film you sponsored - just in case it doesn't end up being selected for screening.
