About Chill Bucket Productions
Chill Bucket was started by Jeff & George Rocco after they began working as co-producers on fundraising events for non-profit theaters. They stayed fairly limited in the scope of their work branching out to produce an Improv Competition for high school teams and one of the premiere productions of Yes Virginia, There Is A Santa Clause through a special arrangement with Macys.
Things began to pick up again when Jeff met Dakota Martin and together they hatched a plan to grow Chill Bucket beyond its original reach. In February of 2019, we produced our first Valentine's Cabaret in Westchester County, NY and since then we have produced three readings (two in person and one virtually), two cabarets, a radio play, and we've got so much more to come!
Chill Bucket has taken up the mantle of looking at theater through the lense of history. Our mission is to advance classic theater and showcase our history to inform our present, bringing issues and thought provoking theater to old and new audiences alike.
What We Do
rEach year we produce a Valentine's Cabaret in the Westchester County, NY area. Starting in 2019 this event has grown to be an annual evening of music and joy featuring a talented group of vocalists all singing songs around the years theme. Tickets are on sale in mid-late December and tables sell quickly!
Another one of our signature events is Play In A Day. Developed as a fundraiser for a children's theater in 2008, we have now produced more than ten events featuring hundreds of kids. Participants audition in advance then come together for 24 hours to rehearse music, blocking and choreography. The great thing about this event is it's flexibility. It can be as large as 150 kids all working together or as small as 15 - the experience is always positive for participants and audience members.
We love to collaborate on fundraisers and other projects! If you are interested in working with us to produce an event, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
